I am assuming you all have a vague idea of the "Green Man" (usually seen as a leafy face and the rest of him hiding out in bushes)

Watered down Acrylics. This is often asked, no I do not use traditional watercolors, I just work better with thicker paints that are watered down.
I love your work... You are great with creating a beautiful magical atmosphere, and the light in this picture is amazing... do you look at lots of reference material or do you paint from your mind when it comes to nature scenes? Also, I adore the darkest tree in this picture, the watercolours have really done an amazing job and you have let it roam free yet controlled it in such an exquisit way.... I think I love you!!
sorta both.. i've got piles of ref pictures for setting up where i want the trees to be spacially, then usually the trees I just make up got some really nifty ones where i live, so i take photos of them.
