I'm wondering if I would even want to see this in color:)

The illustration of lust, penetration, consuming, and envelopement is wonderful. I really like how the hands dip into her, almost as if she were jello. Here body does not seem harmed, rather accepting. Sweet:)

actually, i was speaking with a friend earlier today, i may give her a shot at color (it'd be an entirely new piece, this stays as pencil only) :)

I look forward to the color interpretation. First I imagined that it could be a bit gory (if the "Goddess of Flesh" angle were taken literally). However, now I could see her as fire or water, but those might be a bit cliche.

Again, props for capturing many dimensions of phyisical passion in this one image. It is very sensual, erotic, beautiful, passive, but also primal, instinctual, predatory, and invasive all at once.:)

we'd discussed that perhaps lust can be seen as many forms... like what people lust -after-

i went with flesh, just because of my mood at the time ;) i might actually play around with some other versions too, one day. i tend to keep away with typical 'elements'... perhaps think of her as a very organic creature that thrives off of what others give to her? Hmm.

Well, you certainly channeled your mood into the piece very effectively;)

I like the reversal if I understand you correctly. She feeds less from her own stimulation but more from the stimulation of others. However, she is the source of their affection, so it is a very mutual/cyclical relationship (which again illustrates the theme very well).

I do see her as being very natural, earthy, organic. This is in part due to how she is rendered and partly because of your other works. I would also say that it is only natural to illustrate such a ... natural ... feeling/act thusly:) I am interested to see how this might be portrayed in her texture and coloring. Somehow I can't see her as being flesh toned.

there's something both disturbing and beautiful about this piece. The lips parted in ecstasy, the barely distinguishable figures intertwining around her...it's very haunting.
