My uncle is a very big buffalo fan (the foot ball team, too)... I think after doing this second painting of the animal, I'm starting to see what it is he SEES in the somewhat ugly beasts.

They've got a determined look to them. They'll last through ANYTHING you through at them.



I ended up using this as part of a monthly project I try to put together at my forum: [link] (new members welcome :D )

It's digital, fiddled around with the 'noise' filter to see what could happen with it.

They are impressive beasts. And tough. There was a substatial herd of them by Fort Greely, Alaska while I was in the Army way back when. That place drops to -50 and stays windy. Nasty weather. But the buffalo ride it out.
